Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Application refers to Brandz, the software program provided by the Company.
- Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Brandz.
- Country refers to: California, United States.
- Creator / Influencer refers to any user who voluntarily submits an application or profile to be showcased to brands for PR and gifting opportunities.
- Device means any device that can access the Service such as a smartphone or tablet.
- Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Service refers to the Application, the Brandz platform, and related websites or portals.
- Service Provider means third-party entities employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, provide infrastructure and database hosting, verify subscriptions, or analyze performance.
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service.
Collecting and Using Your Data
1. Core App Usage (Standard Users)
You can browse brand directories and use the core features of the Application without creating an account or providing personal contact details. For general app usage:
- No Account Required: We do not collect Your name, personal email address, phone number, or account credentials to browse brand listings.
- In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: All payment transactions are handled directly by Apple’s App Store payment systems. We never receive, process, or store Your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or banking details.
- Anonymous Analytics & Diagnostics: We collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable diagnostic and telemetry data to monitor app stability, resolve bugs, and improve overall performance.
2. Optional Influencer Onboarding Data (Only if You Apply)
Applying to join the Brandz creator network is entirely optional. If and only if You choose to submit an onboarding application to connect with brands, We collect:
- Contact & Identification Information: Full name, email address, and phone number.
- Creator Profile Media: A mandatory verification selfie/profile photo and an optional short bio or creator description.
- Social Media Handles & Analytics: Public platform handles (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and self-reported engagement metrics, including total follower counts and total view counts over the preceding 30 days.
Use of Your Information
The Company uses collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service: Delivering brand PR contact directories, maintaining uptime, and optimizing application features.
- To review and process Creator Applications: Evaluating submitted content, social handles, audience metrics, and verification photos to determine eligibility for the Brandz creator network.
- To showcase Approved Creators to Brands: Displaying verified creator profiles (names, handles, profile media, niche descriptions, and reach metrics) to vetted brands on the Brandz portal to facilitate PR outreach, gifting, and brand collaborations.
- To manage In-App Subscriptions: Managing access entitlements and premium directory features.
- To communicate regarding Applications: Contacting You via the provided email or phone number regarding application status, approval decisions, or re-application cooldown periods.
- To prevent abuse and fraud: Enforcing application rate limits, re-application cooldown periods, and verifying that creator submissions are authentic.
Sharing and Disclosure of Information
- With Verified Partner Brands (Approved Creators Only): If You apply and are approved into the Brandz creator network, Your creator profile data (name, handles, profile photo, bio, follower reach, and view metrics) will be made visible to verified brands on our portal for outreach purposes. Private verification media and direct billing details are never shared.
- With Third-Party Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted service providers strictly to support core app functionality:
- Cloud Hosting & Database Infrastructure: To securely store user records, profile media, and application submissions.
- Subscription Verification: To process receipts and validate active subscription entitlements.
- Performance & Analytics Tools: To collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic, crash, and telemetry data to maintain app performance.
- For Legal & Safety Requirements: We may disclose Your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the safety, property, and legal rights of Brandz, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, application records may be transferred as an operational asset with prior notice.
Data Retention & Deletion
- Core Usage Telemetry: Aggregated and anonymous analytics are retained according to standard provider cycles for performance trend analysis.
- Creator Applications: Active creator profiles remain stored for as long as You participate in the network. Rejected application logs and cooldown timestamps may be retained for up to 90 days to enforce re-application eligibility rules.
- Data Deletion: You can request the permanent deletion of Your submitted application data, creator profile, and associated records at any time by contacting us at service.devshot@gmail.com. Upon verification, Your data will be permanently removed from our databases.
Security of Your Data
We use industry-standard administrative and technical safeguards (such as SSL/TLS encryption and restricted database security rules) to protect Your personal details. However, no method of transmission over the internet or cloud storage is 100% secure, and We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If You become aware that a child under 13 has submitted an application or personal information to Us, please contact Us at service.devshot@gmail.com, and We will promptly delete that data.
