1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading or using ChitChat (“the App”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. NATURE OF SERVICE (STORYTELLING & PARODY)
- ChitChat is a utility for content creators, writers, and role-players. It is designed to create visual assets for fictional storytelling and entertainment.
- NOT A MESSAGING APP: ChitChat is a simulator only. It does not send actual SMS, iMessage, or any other form of electronic communication.
- NO AFFILIATION: This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc., Meta, or any other messaging platform.
3. PROHIBITED USES & USER RESPONSIBILITY You are strictly prohibited from using ChitChat to:
- Create deceptive content intended to harass, bully, or defame real individuals.
- Impersonate government officials, public figures, or legal entities.
- Commit fraud or mislead others in legal or financial proceedings. You assume 100% liability for any content you create. ChitChat and its developers are not responsible for any real-world consequences, disputes, or legal actions resulting from the use of your generated screenshots.
4. Subscriptions and Watermarks
- The App includes a watermark on generated images by default to identify them as simulations.
- Removing the watermark via a paid subscription does not waive your responsibility to use the App ethically.
- All billing and refunds are managed exclusively by the Apple App Store.
5. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
